‘Star Trek: Discovery’
CBS All Access, available to stream beginning at 7:30 p.m. (season premiere)
Season two of the streaming hit set in the iconic “Star Trek” universe features 14 episodes, with one new episode launching each Thursday. After answering a distress signal from the USS Enterprise, the crew of the Discovery join forces with Capt. Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) on a new mission to investigate seven mysterious red signals and the appearance of an unknown being called the Red Angel. Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Yeoh, Rebecca Romijn, Doug Jones and Shazad Latif also star, with Ethan Peck taking on the legendary role of Spock.
‘A Discovery of Witches’ Shudder & Sundance Now (new series)
This adaptation of Deborah Harkness’ contemporary fantasy novel follows the intersection of the worlds of witches, vampires and daemons as they search for their mutual histories within a secretive and sacred manuscript. Teresa Palmer, Matthew Goode and Alex Kingston star.
‘Grey’s Anatomy: Shelter From the Storm’
ABC, 7 p.m.
The windstorm continues to blow through Seattle. After the power goes out at Grey Sloan, the doctors are left scrambling to save their patients’ lives. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) desperately needs to get to Cece (Caroline Clay) for her heart transplant. Meanwhile, Owen (Kevin McKidd), Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Teddy (Kim Raver) confront their complicated situation.
‘Supernatural: Nihilism’

Michael has retaken control of Dean ( Jensen Ackles) as his army of monsters continues to move in. Sam ( Jared Padalecki) devises a plan to try and reach Dean and stop Michael before anyone else has to die.
‘A Million Little Things: Secrets and Lies’

After troubling news, Delilah (Stephanie Szostak) finds herself once again leaning on her friends to help her family, unexpectedly having to rely on Katherine (Grace Park) the most. Despite Gary’s ( James Roday) protests, Maggie (Allison Miller) insists on running the Suicide Prevention 5K with the rest of the gang, where Danny (Chance Hurstfield) also plans to introduce someone special to his mom and sister.
‘Bring It’
Lifetime, 8 p.m. (new episodes)
In the season five winter premiere — “No Boys Allowed?” — major changes hit the Dollhouse as Camryn steps down as captain, and Makya and Crystianna step up to lead. Then, Coach D begins a new dance season with a wild experiment, led by a new assistant coach, Marquell, that shakes the Dollhouse to its core.
‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Hitchcock & Scully’

Jake (Andy Samberg) and Charles ( Joe Lo Truglio) investigate a case of Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker) and Scully’s ( Joel McKinnon Miller) from the 1980s. Meanwhile, Amy’s (Melissa Fumero) uniformed officers and Terry’s (Terry Crews) detectives fight over limited resources.
