That flag sickening

I am disgusted by the sight of the Mexican flag replacing my Stars and Stripes recently in Colorado. I thought that issue had been settled about 170 years ago.

Having had a father who served in World War II, an uncle who gave his all in Okinawa and another uncle wounded in the European theater made me aware of the sacrifices that Hispanics made to defend the Stars and Stripes.

The despicable acts by some in Colorado to desecrate the same flag that my relatives sacrificed for makes me ill. There are other ways to protest the current difficult immigration issues, but not at the expense of my flag.
