A former Bexar County sheriff’s deputy who’s accused of pulling a gun on a female relative in June and threatening her during an argument was arrested a third time Tuesday for violating conditions set by the court.

Justin Storlie, 36, is in jail for continuous family violence with bail now set at $60,000.

The Sheriff ’s Office said in a statement that a warrant was issued for his arrest “after a bond increase was issued due to noncompliance with conditions set by the court.”

The statement didn’t specify what conditions were violated.

The charge stems from an incident that occurred June 10. Storlie is alleged to have been drunk when he was arguing with a female relative at 1:40 a.m. in the 600 block of West Martin Street.

The woman told San Antonio police, who responded to the argument, that Storlie held her down, grabbed a handgun and threatened to kill her.

She was able to escape and call police as Storlie left with his son, a previous report stated. Deputies later found him and arrested him.

He was released after posting a $25,000 bail the same day. Sheriff Javier Salazar issued Storlie a notice of proposed dismissal in June, along with a general discharge for his peace officer’s license.

Storlie had been with the Sheriff’s Office since July 28, 2014. He was on leave for a domestic violence incident in May when the June incident occurred.

Salazar previously said Storlie had a troubled career marked by disciplinary infractions.

The former corporal was arrested a second time Aug. 23, also for violating the conditions of his bond. He was released the same day after posting $50,000 bail.

Storlie resigned from the Sheriff’s Office the next day while under investigation by internal affairs and was issued a dishonorable discharge for his jailer’s license, officials said.
