Woman, 19, found dead in home

A 19-year-old woman was found dead at a West Side home Tuesday, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Officers responded to the 8600 block of Limpkin Court at 1:15 p.m. after a 51-year-old man called police.

The man told police he had come home and found the garage door open and his fiancee bloodied and unresponsive in the bedroom inside.

According to Chief William McManus, the woman had suffered head wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
