Start a waitlist for all

As we read about the limited COVID-19 vaccinations being scooped up within minutes once they become available for appointment, it begs the question: Why hasn't anyone thought about creating a local/state/national database that would collect all the essential information?

When a person's time for a vaccine is coming up, he or she would be contacted and given an appointment automatically with the time, date, place and what to bring to verify.

This is not rocket science, yet our leadership has been woefully inadequate in preparing for the vaccination rollout. Wasn't anyone thinking about this last summer? Obviously not!
