Donna was born on August 2, 1928, in Omaha, Nebraska, to parents, Ernest George Cathro and Evelyn Maire Hester. She was raised in Omaha and enjoyed spending time with her brother, Bob, and their friends growing up. Donna married Wallace ‘Wally’ Linn on March 1, 1958. They were married 41 years when Wally passed away on July 16, 1999. Wally was in the US Air Force, so they travelled across the United States throughout his career. Upon Wally’s retirement, he and Donna moved to San Antonio, TX. She was active in Parent Teacher

Association activities, organizing fund-raising events and supporting classroom development activities. Mom was also active in church, Eastern Star and Nile. Donna became active in Aggie Mom’s when her son, Bill, began college at Texas A&M University. Following Wally’s passing, she moved to Weatherford, TX to be close to family. In particular, Bill and Karen, and her two grandchildren, Jonathon and Brian. Grandma attended her grandsons school activities, band concerts, and competitions. In the past few years, she became an extremely proud Great-grandma – ‘Gigi’ – for Millie and Beau. Mom loved her family very much and touched everyone’s heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Evelyn Cathro; her husband, Wallace E. Linn Jr.; her brother, Robert Cathro, her aunt, Marcella Ogren; and cousins, Barbara and Jack Cathro, and Nancy Healy.
