Man struck, killed while walking; driver fled on foot

A 25-year-old man was struck and killed Saturday night on the Northwest Side.

San Antonio police said the man was walking east in the 5800 block of Northwest Loop 410 when the driver of a black sedan struck the man. The driver fled on foot.

Police later apprehended a suspect in the 5800 block of Stemmons Drive.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
