More people, less freedom

- Bill Hurley

When I was born in 1951, the world population was nearly 3 billion. Now it’s 8 billion. The U.N. suggests 9 billion by my death year. That’s triple!

Is it too much to ask that people see some rules have to change accordingly? Isn’t that common sense?

For example, a four-bedroom house with two baths has just a couple of rules when four people are there. What happens with 12? In case you missed the analogy, the house is the Earth. It’s finite.

Without this paradigm, I can see how people complain about less freedoms today. The MAGA sentiment often forgets this reality.
