TCM, beginning at 7 p.m.

Sisterly relationsh­ips are the focus of tonight’s lineup. First is 1933’s best picture Oscar-nominated “Little Women.” The film follows the four March sisters (Katharine Hepburn, Joan Bennett, Frances Dee and Jean Parker) in Concord, Mass., during and after the Civil War. Next, in the comedy “My Sister Eileen” (1942), best actress Oscar nominee Rosalind Russell and Janet Blair play Ohio sisters who move to New York City looking for success. Next is the famed 1944 musical “Meet Me in St. Louis,” which follows a

year in the life of a Midwestern family at the turn of the 20th century and especially the four daughters (Judy Garland, Margaret O’brien, Lucille Bremer and Joan Carroll). The final film is “What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?” (1962). Director Robert Aldrich’s darkly humorous and horrific cult classic offers gothic and campy fun as it follows an aging former child star (best actress Oscar nominee Bette Davis) who torments her paraplegic sister (Joan Crawford), a former movie star, in an old Hollywood mansion.

If your family is in the sock biz, put your foot down! Bob (Billy Gardell) toils at the factory, while his wife, Abishola (Folake Olowofoyek­u), confronts a co-worker’s personalit­y shift.

Childhood grief haunts London PI Cormoran Strike (Tom Burke) and his client in this four-part adaptation of the fifth J.K. Rowling (writing as Robert Galbraith) novel. When Anna Phipps (Sophie Ward) asks Strike to pursue the cold case of her mother, missing since 1974, he agrees, although he’s caring for his dying aunt (Linda Bassett). By the sleuth’s side: unfalterin­g Robin Ellacott (Holliday Grainger).

black in space: breaking the color barrier

Smithsonia­n Channel, 8 p.m. This 2020 documentar­y features would-be astronaut Edward Dwight Jr., the first Black candidate not chosen by the Apollo Program in 1963, and Guion “Guy” Bluford of 1983’s Challenger launch. NASA will send an American of color to the moon in 2025.

Icons Unearthed: Fast & Furious

Tonight’s episode looks at how

Universal broke the mold with their “Fast Five” — with bigger and better stunts, internatio­nal locations and one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Ben (Raymond Lee) finds himself in 2012 in the midst of the Mendéz family as they help their transgende­r daughter, Gia, who dreams of playing on her high school basketball team.

black Travel across america Nat Geo, 9 p.m.

This documentar­y visits some of the landmarks in the “Green Book” compiled by Harlem-based postal worker Victor Hugo Green and published annually from 1936-66: a travel guidebook that provided a list of hotels, restaurant­s and service stations from Connecticu­t to California that served African Americans during a time of extreme racial prejudice.
