OTHER STATE GAMES TO WATCH

- Wire reports

A look at Saturday's other Power Five games involving schools from Texas:

BAYLOR (2-4, 1-2 BIG 12) AT CINCINNATI (2-4, 0-3) When: 11 a.m.

TV: ESPN+.

What’s at stake: Baylor and Cincinnati have never met on the football field. The Bearcats are free falling under first-year coach Scott Satterfield, losing four straight following a 30-10 defeat to Iowa State last week. Baylor is coming off a bye week. The Bears are seeking their second consecutive road win after toppling UCF 36-35 on Sept. 30. Baylor rallied from a 35-7 deficit late in the third quarter against the Knights to secure the largest comeback in program history and the largest comeback for an FBS program since 2019.

Key matchup: Baylor's offensive line vs. Cincinnati's defensive front. Baylor has allowed 18 sacks through six games, the most per game in the Big 12.

TCU (4-3, 2-2 BIG 12) AT KANSAS STATE (4-2, 2-1) When: 6 p.m.

TV: ESPN 2.

What’s at stake:

Kansas State bounced back from an ugly showing at Oklahoma State to beat Texas Tech on the road last week and remain in the hunt to defend its Big 12 title. But with a loss to the Cowboys already on their resume, the Wildcats cannot afford another loss to a middle-tier team like TCU, which has already lost conference games to West Virginia and Iowa State. The Horned Frogs lost to the Wildcats in the Big 12 title game a year ago, so exacting a little bit of revenge would be a big lift to what has been a disappointing season so far.

Key matchup: TCU QB Josh Hoover against the Kansas State pass defense, which struggled against Oklahoma State but looked better against Texas Tech.

TEXAS TECH (3-4, 2-2 BIG 12) AT BYU (4-2, 1-2)

When: 6 p.m.

TV: FS1.

What’s at stake: BYU and Texas Tech face a must-win contest to keep their bowl hopes on track. The Cougars are reeling on defense after surrendering a season-high 447 passing yards in a 44-11 loss at TCU and need a victory with back-to-back road games against Texas and West Virginia looming. The Red Raiders are looking to get back on track after they faded in the second half of a 38-21 home loss to Kansas State.

Key matchup: Texas Tech's rushing attack vs. BYU'S run defense, which has allowed 194.3 yards per game rushing over their last four games.
