Besame Mucho Fest coming to Texas

- By Jess Elizarraras STAFF WRITER

Besame Mucho Festival has announced its first-ever Texas date, but you’re going to have to head to the state capital to enjoy this massive lineup of Latino artists.

The 2024 date will be Besame Mucho’s third outing after hosting daylong festivals at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium in December 2022 and, later this year, on Dec. 2.

The festival, presented by Tropicalia, La Tocada and Live Nation, brings together a dream roster akin to When We Were Young Fest, except with more Latino flavors. The March 2 date at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas includes four stages broken up into Las Clasicas, Banda, Rockero and Te Gusta El Pop, with stars from across Mexico, Central and Latin America.

Las Clasicas will host the legendary Los Tigres Del Norte, newcomers Grupo Frontera, Bronco, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon, Ramon Ayala, Duelo, Pesado, Bobby Pulido and more.

On the Banda stage, Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizárraga, Banda Recodo, La Adictiva, Banda Los Recoditos and Banda Machos will headline. The Rockero stage will host Caifanes, Café Tacvuba, Juanes, El Tri, Maldita Vecindad, Hombres G, Enanitos Verdes, La Ley, Molotov, Inspector and more.

The pop fans will get their fill of Mexican legends like Gloria Trevi, Alejandra Guzmán, Belanova, Reik, Sin Bandera, Fey, Belinda and Puerto Rican Elvis Crespo.

After two years in California, Besame Mucho’s entry into the Lone Star State is already drawing fans. San Antonio culture influencer Stephanie Guerra commented on the event announcement, “Thanks for listening to us and coming to Tejas! Can’t
