No. 1 Georgia clobbers No. 18 Tennessee

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Carson Beck threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns to lead No. 1 Georgia to a 38-10 victory over No. 18 Tennessee on Saturday.

Dillon Bell caught five passes for 90 yards and a touchdown, and also threw an 18yard TD pass to Marcus Rosemy-jacksaint for the Bulldogs (10-0, 8-0 Southeaste­rn Conference). Rosemy-jacksaint caught seven passes for 91 yards and two TDS.

Jaylen Wright broke through the middle of the line and went 75 yards for a touchdown on the Volunteers’ (7-4, 3-4) first snap of the game.

NO. 2 OHIO STATE 37 MINNESOTA 3

Treveyon Henderson rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns and Kyle Mccord passed for 212 yards and two scores as the Buckeyes (11-0, 8-0 Big Ten) tuned up for their trip to Ann Arbor to face third-ranked Michigan (11-0, 8-0 Big Ten, CFP No. 3) next Saturday.

NO. 4 FLORIDA STATE 58 NORTH ALABAMA 13

The host Seminoles (11-0) lost star quarterbac­k Jordan Travis to a leg injury in the first quarter, yet rallied behind backup Tate Rodemaker to win their 17th consecutiv­e game. Rodemaker completed 13 of 23 passes for 217 yards with touchdown passes to Keon Coleman and Caziah Holmes.

NO. 5 WASHINGTON 22 NO. 11 OREGON STATE 20

Michael Penix Jr. threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in a nearly constant rain, and the visiting Huskies (11-0, 8-0) clinched a spot in the Pac-12 championsh­ip game. Penix completed 13 of 28 passes for 162 yards. He has thrown for 30 touchdowns this season.

NO. 6 OREGON 49 ARIZONA STATE 13

Bo Nix threw for 404 yards and a career-high six touchdowns, Patrick Herbert and Troy Franklin both caught two touchdown passes as the Ducks (10-1, 6-1) scored on their first six drives en route to a 42-0 lead over the host Sun Devils.

NO. 9 MISSOURI 33, FLORIDA 31

Harrison Mevis kicked a 30-yard field goal with five seconds remaining, and Brady Cook completed 20 of 34 passes for 326 yards and a touchdown to rally the host Tigers (9-2, 5-2 SEC) past the Gators.

NO. 15 LSU 56, GEORGIA STATE 14

Senior quarterbac­k Jayden Daniels piled up 509 total yards, threw six touchdown passes and rushed for two more scores for the host Tigers (8-3, 5-2 SEC).

NO. 16 IOWA 15, ILLINOIS 13

Kaleb Johnson’s 30-yard touchdown run clinched the Big Ten West Division title for the Hawkeyes (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten). Iowa earned a trip to the Big Ten championsh­ip game on Dec. 2 in Indianapol­is.

Sam Hartman tormented his former team, passing for 277 yards and four touchdowns for the Fighting Irish (8-3), who improved to 6-0 all-time vs. the Demon Deacons (4-7).

Cade Klubnik threw for 219 yards and a touchdown for the host Tigers (7-4, 4-4 ACC), and the Tigers’ defense held the high-scoring Tar Heels (8-3, 4-3) to their fewest points this season.

Will Howard threw two touchdown passes and ran for the go-ahead score, and the visiting Wildcats (8-3, 6-2 Big 12) took advantage of two special teams blunders to beat the Jayhawks (7-4, 4-4) for their 15th straight win in the Sunflower Showdown.

Alan Bowman threw for 348 yards and two touchdowns, Ollie Gordon II rushed for 164 yards and three second-half touchdowns and the Cowboys (8-3, 6-2) kept alive their hopes of reaching the Big 12 Championsh­ip game.

ARKANSAS STATE 77 TEXAS STATE 31

TJ Finley totaled 366 yards on 37-of-55 passing with three touchdowns and two intercepti­ons for the visiting Bobcats (6-5, 3-4).

Ashtyn Hawkins had eight catches for 165 yards. Kole Wilson caught 10 passes for 68 yards and two scores. Joey Hobert also caught a touchdown pass. Ismail Mahdi had a first-quarter scoring run.
