NOTABLE

• The Spurs’ 15-game losing streak is the second-longest in team history, one shy of matching last year’s squad for the club record. The team’s 3-17 start matches the 1996-97 club for the worst record after 20 games.

• The Bulls are on a three-game winning streak after a stretch in which they lost eight of nine. All three victories came without Lavine, their All-star guard.

• With 21 points in Wednesday’s loss at Minnesota, the Spurs’ Johnson went over 4,000 in his career. He is one of five players to reach 4,000 points, 1,300 rebounds, 500 assists and 400 3-pointers in his first 250 career games, joining Paul Pierce, Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic and R.J. Barrett.
