When spring break and St. Patrick’s Day come together, it’s going to be a party weekend in San Antonio. Here’s a look at the highlights:
TODAY
Drake: Since releasing his debut album, “Thank Me Later,” in 2010, actor-turned-rapper Drake has been one of the most commercially successful musicians on the planet, with No. 1 hits including “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What.” J. Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair:
The location of the Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair is new, but the attraction is the same: more than 150 Tejano and conjunto acts playing on four stages over four days. Spring Break Music Fest: Market Square is hosting Spring Fest 2024, an expanded spring break celebration featuring 70 bands covering a range of genres on three stages. René Vaca: Southern California native Vaca worked as a landscaper before pursuing a career in comedy, and he brings a working-class sensibility to his observations onstage. He’s a winner of the Standup NBC talent search, which helped

Carver Community Cultural Center open house: The Carver is opening the doors to show off its arts education programs. Bud Light St. Patrick’s Celebration: Green is the color of money, jealousy and, this time of year, the San Antonio River as the city goes all out for St. Patrick’s Day. Geoff Tate: The former Queensrÿche frontman will be singing the band’s hard rock classics, such as “Empire,” as well as songs from his solo catalog, like
