$27M Dallas home has 2-hole golf course

- By Nick Wooten

A $27 million Dallas estate with a two-hole, regulation golf course complete with sand traps and water features was one of the priciest homes to hit the Texas housing market last month.

Five of the most expensive homes listed in Texas last month were in the Dallas-fort Worth Metroplex, according to data from the Houston Association of Realtors. The association uses information from local listing services throughout the state.

The data was compiled before the end of the month, so some homes listed in late February may be included in March’s rankings.

The six-bedroom, 12-bathroom property at 10540 Lennox Lane in Dallas’ Preston Hollow neighborhood is a three-level home with an elevator, expansive wine cellar and catering kitchen.

The 17,201-square-foot estate also includes three game rooms, two offices, a solarium, a golf simulator and a two-bedroom apartment. There are eight full bathrooms and four half bathrooms on the property.

In addition to the golf course, the estate’s outdoor attractions include a fire pit, a pool, a spa and a large cabana with a full bath. The home has two ponds and its own well water.

The home is being sold by Dallas real estate agency Allie Beth Allman & Associates. It was the third most expensive home listed in Texas last month.

Dallas Central Appraisal records list Michael Scott Anderson as its current owner. The attorney’s estate was previously featured in D Magazine’s Most

Expensive Homes.

Other D-FW homes that made the February list include:

• In Highland Park: Built in 2022, the six-bedroom house has eight full bathrooms and three half bathrooms. It boasts a high-fidelity cinema and a temperature-controlled, nine-bay auto gallery. It was Texas’ seventh most expensive home.

• In Southlake: The eightbedroom, 13-bathroom property has a regulation-size indoor basketball court and a two-lane bowling alley. It was Texas’ eighth most expensive home. The home has 10 full bathrooms and three half bathrooms.

• In Highland Park: The 8,741-square-foot home sits on close to half an acre, with views of the Dallas Country Club golf course. It has six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and one half bathroom. It was Texas’ ninth most expensive home.

• In Highland Park: Paul Turney designed the four-bedroom, six-bathroom house with inspiration from famed Louisiana architect A. Hays Town. The property has four full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. It was the 10th most expensive home listed in Texas last month.
