TIME FOR A transformation
Watch Konmari Method™ clutter-clearing demos today at Kensington
Ready for ways to simplify your days? Shea Homes has it covered — starting with a free presentation from 1-3 p.m. today by Marie Kondocertified consultant Tricia Fidler, held at Kensington at the Square in Bressi Ranch in Carlsbad. Fidler will share the joyful wisdom of Marie Kondo’s Konmari Method™, created to help achieve a clutter-free life. Located at 6002 Colt Place in Carlsbad, Kensington will provide small snacks and have an attendant available to assist guests with parking. For more information, call (760) 547-8771.
Today at Kensington, mini-demonstrations of the Konmari Method™ will be showcased in the living room, kitchen, master closet and second bedroom. Fidler will also demonstrate the now-famous vertical folding method used by organizers for everything from kitchen towels to scarves to socks.
“The Konmari Method™ is in sync with what we’re doing at Shea Homes, where our customers are in the process of transformation, whether they are upsizing or downsizing their lives,” said Vanessa Linn, vice president of sales and marketing for the San Diego division.
“We believe in Marie Kondo’s simple premise: Tidy your space, transform your life.”

Elsewhere in San Diego’s North County, Shea Homes has just unveiled its offering of Delos’ Darwin™ system: a wellness technology solution created to enhance health outcomes in the home by improving indoor air quality, implementing water filtration and circadian lighting.
Making its debut in Shea Homes at Alia in Encinitas last month, Darwin is already getting a positive response, with comments such as:
“We’re surprised it’s included at no additional cost.”
“I’ve never seen or heard of this system before, but I’m relieved I won’t have to outlay more money after closing for a water system.”
“We’re interested in the whole-house health concept and appreciate that Shea is leading the way.”
How does it work?
The Darwin system uses proprietary wellness algorithms and sensor technologies to monitor, calibrate and respond to the changing conditions inside the home in order to mitigate harmful indoor environmental concerns and help improve overall health of the people who live there.
“Shea is constantly seeking new technologies and products that support a healthy home environment,” Linn said. “Darwin’s state-ofthe-art technology is easy to use and enables individual control over indoor air quality and lighting.”
