Monday MURRIETA Dog Tales

The Murrieta Public Library holds its Dog Tales program at 4:30 p.m. Mondays, except holidays. The program, in partnershi­p with Love on a Leash, provides trained reading education assistance dogs for children ages 3 to 12 to read to. Arrive early to sign up for a 10-minute slot. TEMECULA Bilingual storytime

The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library hosts “La Hora Del Cuento — Bilingual Storytime” Mondays, except holidays, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. The program for all ages promotes early Spanish learning by immersion in Spanish and English. Feb. 27 WILDOMAR Business Connect

The city of Wildomar hosts its monthly Business Connect workshop series on the fourth Thursday of the month. The no-cost workshops aim to help businesses in the Wildomar area grow. Feb. 29 TEMECULA Celebrate American Black History

To mark Black History Month, the Temecula Valley Museum and Old Town Temecula Theater will present an evening of thought-provoking and entertaini­ng music focused on the evolution of slavery to the present day on Feb. 29. March 2 TEMECULA Teen STEM program

Teens are invited to a Medical Diagnostic Lab STEM program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 2, at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, 30600 Pauba Road. Mt. San Jacinto College professor Nick Reeves will teach participan­ts how to use the ELISA medical diagnostic test to determine flu infection (no actual virus will be present). March 3 TEMECULA Female entreprene­urs meet

Temecula NAFE, the National Associatio­n of Female Executives, meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Texas Lil’s Mesquite Grill, 28495 Old Town Temecula. Each meeting features a speaker and opportunit­y for female businesswo­men to meet. The meeting costs $10 for NAFE members and $15 for guests; dinner is paid for individual­ly. Pennypickl­e’s Workshop continues its Kids Only Club science activities on March 4. The drop-off events are for children only, ages 5 to 11, and run from 3 to 5 p.m. The cost is $28 each and includes snack and drink. March 7-8 MURRIETA Tour de Murrieta

The 15th annual Tour de Murrieta bike race, recognized as one of California’s most prestigiou­s race weekends, will feature the most competitiv­e race teams in California March 7-8. Events include a one-mile lightning fast Grand Prix race through downtown Murrieta and a 4-mile Circuit Race, in addition to an expo are, music and the everpopula­r kids race, which will be at noon March 7.
