Through April 25 TEMECULA Run Through the Vineyard fundraiser
Registration is open for the Temecula Sunrise Rotary’s 33rd annual Run Through the Vineyard 10K, 5K and 2K run-walks at the Maurice Car’rie Vineyard on Saturday, April 25. The event raises money for the club’s community service projects. Registration costs $52 for the 10K, $50 for the 5K and $20 for the 2K. Prices will increase April 23, when online registration ends. Participants will receive a T-shirt and finisher medal, and prizes will be awarded for the top finishers in the 5K and 10K. For more information or to register, visit temeculasunriserotary.com.
Monday MURRIETA Dog Tales
The Murrieta Public Library holds its Dog Tales program at 4:30 p.m. Mondays, except holidays. The program, in partnership with Love on a Leash, provides trained reading education assistance dogs for children ages 3 to 12 to read to. Arrive early to sign up for a 10-minute slot. The library is at 8 Town Square.
TEMECULA Bilingual storytime
The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library hosts “La Hora Del Cuento — Bilingual Storytime” Mondays, except holidays, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. The program for all ages promotes early Spanish learning by immersion in Spanish and English. March 23-25 TEMECULA STEM camp
The city invites middle school girls, ages 11-14, in the Temecula Valley to a STEM Spring Break Camp. Participants in the free program will hear from women in STEM careers and participate in STEM activities and can choose from one of three days: March 23, March 24 or March 25. March 24 MURRIETA Coffee talks
The Coffee with the City of Murrieta series continues at 8:30 a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Murrieta Chamber office, 25125 Madison Ave., Suite 108. The free events hosted by the city and the Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce provide an opportunity for residents to connect with city officials.
March 26 WILDOMAR Business Connect
The city of Wildomar hosts its monthly Business Connect workshop series on the fourth Thursday of the month. The no-cost workshops aim to help businesses in the Wildomar area grow. Meetings are held at 8 a.m. in the Santa Rosa Room on the second floor of Wildomar City Hall, 23873 Clinton Keith Road. April 1 MURRIETA Financial abuse seminar
The Friends of the Murrieta Library will host a free seminar on Financial Abuse: Scams and Prevention for Seniors at 4 p.m. April 1, at the library, 8 Town Square. Elder abuse topics may also be discussed.
TEMECULA Kids Only Club
Pennypickle’s Workshop continues its Kids Only Club science activities on April 1. The drop-off events are for children only, ages 5 to 11, and run from 3 to 5 p.m. The cost is $28 each and includes snack and drink. April 3 TEMECULA Teen Night Light egg hunt
Youths ages 13 to 18 are invited to an egg hunt from 8 to 9:30 p.m. April 3 at Kent Hintergardt Memorial Park, 31465 Via Cordoba. Grab a flashlight and get together with friends for the teens-only event. Dancing and music begin at 8 p.m.; egg hunt begins at 8:30 p.m. Participants can win prizes and attendees will be eligible for community service hours for school. April 4 PERRIS Breakfast with Bunny
Hop on over to the Perris Civic Center, 101 North D St., from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for a series of Easterthemed events, including breakfast and photos with the Easter Bunny, and an egg hunt. Breakfast costs $6.50 per person; one child 4 and younger is free per paid adult. Deadline to register for the breakfast is April 1. The community egg hunt is free for children 12 and younger.
