Carlyle Carlsbad Village, a new community of 38 luxury homes at 800 Grand Ave. in Carlsbad, is already 50 percent sold out.

“Carlyle defines the concept of destination living,” said Christopher Mckellar, CEO of Mckellar Mcgowan. “The homes present a unique opportunity to live in a newly constructed home in walkable Carlsbad Village among casual, coastal boutiques, restaurants, entertainment options, and of course, the beach.”

Of the six floor plans in the Residences, the community’s single-level condos, the three bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Plan 4 is one of the most distinctive. All Plan 4 homes are in corner, south-facing locations and range in size from 2,285 to 2,305 square feet.

The gourmet kitchen boasts a dining island with the convenience of a sink, dishwasher, wine refrigerator and microwave, and the pantry is a cook’s dream.

The master bedroom suite has a luxurious bathroom and an expansive walk-in closet. The other bedrooms are highlighted by their generous size and walk-in closets. One of the two features French doors that open to a private deck.

The open floor plan gives these homes a spacious feel. The combined kitchen and great room are placed to conveniently access the covered deck for an indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

Carlyle Carlsbad Village is comprised of 33 single-level condominiums, three single-family detached homes and two townhomes, all designed in a contemporary Craftsman style. The homes range in size from 1,635 to 3,044 square feet with two to three bedrooms and share a pool and outdoor lounge. They are priced from the low $1 millions to mid $2 millions.

“Each residence at Carlyle has been individually tailored for homeowners who desire a high-quality, luxurious home that also captures the coastal spirit of Carlsbad,” Mckellar said. “Our residences are focused on what buyers are asking for, which is wide-open, single-level floor plans, an abundance of natural light and ease-of-use. We have also included private elevators in the single-family homes and townhomes, making all three levels accessible to any homeowner.”

Homebuyers are invited to tour the model homes decorated by the Del Mar-based interior design firm Design Line Interiors. Each home takes advantage of the temperate climate in Carlsbad with large outdoor decks up to 12 feet wide with pocket door systems. The homes also feature spacious laundry rooms and bonus storage, luxury plank flooring, designer-selected finishes, Bertazzoni 48-inch gas ranges and double ovens, built-in Sub-zero refrigerators, quartz countertops and more.
