Nov. 8 TEMECULA Walk of Hope

The 2020 Michelle’s Place Walk of Hope will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Nov. 8 at South Coast Winery, 34843 Rancho California Road. The cost is $15 for survivors, $15 for youths ages 4-12 and $35 for individual­s 13 and older. For those who would like to participat­e from home, the cost is $35. The monthly Coffee with the City of Wildomar series continues at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 10. The Court Appointed Special Advocates program will hold an informatio­n session for potential volunteers. CASAS spend one-on-one time with children in foster care and advocate for them in court. Nov. 12 WILDOMAR State of the City

The Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual State of the City event featuring updates from Mayor Dustin Nigg and the city’s leadership team from 6 to 7 p.m. Nov. 12. Lifestream is holding a Dream Raffle fundraiser, with more than $25,000 in prizes, to benefit the blood bank. Dec. 5 LAKE ELSINORE Waste cleanup

The city will hold its monthly household hazardous waste collection event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 5 at 512 N. Langstaff St., Lake Elsinore, next to the city’s Public Works Yard. Ongoing MURRIETA Senior games

TEMECULA Virtual recreation for seniors

The city of Temecula has compiled a list of virtual activities, classes, games and more for seniors at temeculaca.gov/1346/senior-specialnee­ds-resources. The webpage also has informatio­n about meal programs for seniors.

VALLEYWIDE Blood donations

Lifestream continues to host mobile blood drives at various locations as well as collection­s at its regular locations. Face coverings are required of all donors, regardless of location, and all potential donors are subject to a temperatur­e check and COVID-19 symptom review before admission to the donor waiting area. All donations are tested for the presence of COVID-19 antibodies. The Murrieta donation center is a 40365 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, and is open seven days a week; hours vary.
