Hoping this nightmare will soon be history

Woke up from a scary nightmare the other night.

It seemed like half the nation and a large percentage of elected officials had embarked on seditious acts to undermine the most secure and safe election in modern history.

Once the grogginess was gone, I remembered that this is the actual world we live in and I was deeply disappointed.

As a veteran of the submarine force and a San Diegan since the 1970s, I never thought the greatest country in the world would get to this point.

And so, with a great wave of sadness and anxiety pressing on me, I reset my alarm clock for noon, Jan. 20, 2021. Christopher Morrow Little Italy
