Home prices top $749k in San Diego
The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR) reports the October 2020 median price for a single-family home in San Diego County was $749,000, a 1.9 percent increase from $735,000 in September 2020, and a 14.9 percent leap from the $652,000 figure in October 2019. According to recent statistics from the California Association of Realtors, the statewide median price stayed essentially flat in October 2020, slipping 0.2 percent to $711,300 from September 2020’s record high of $712,430. It was the first time in five months for a median price dip. However, the statewide year-overyear growth rate continued to increase by double-digits for the third consecutive month and was the second highest gain since February 2014.
