Libraries offer walk-up door-side service

-

San Diego County Library’s 33 branches have closed their buildings to patrons to curtail the spread of COVID-19, but will provide walk-up door-side service 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Customers can check out books, movies and CDS through the library’s online system or by calling a branch. When items are ready for pick up, customers will receive an automatic notice via email, phone or mail. The library has extended the due date for borrowed materials to Feb. 3. Customers can still return materials in person. Wi-fi service is accessible from the outside of most library branches. To access digital services, visit sdcl.org.
