Strip clubs should not get special treatment

-

Re “San Diego to fight ruling letting strip clubs stay open” (Dec. 10): While restaurants, bars, schools and churches must close due to pandemic restrictions, Superior Court Judge Joel R. Wohlfeil ruled that strip clubs can remain open. Seven nights a week, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., a superspreader event occurs at the club on Midway Drive.

Since it moved its business outside, the sub-woofers and profanity-laced rap music permeate our adjacent neighborhood.

Maybe restaurants, bars, schools and churches should hire some nude dancing girls to comply with the judge’s ruling, so they too can remain open during the pandemic? Tom Craig Midway District
