LEMON GROVE — Dove Turner Carson passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021 at the age of 103 years young. She was born in Floyd, VA where she met the love of her life, Webb Carson, after World War II. They moved to CA and were married for 25 years until his death in 1971 at 56 years old. Together they raised their two sons Tom and Judd and worked hard to provide the very best for the boys. Attending every football, basketball and baseball game from high school through college. Dove was a mentor and amazing sounding board for all who knew her. She is survived in death by her sons, Tom (wife Barbara), Judd (wife Laura), 6 adoring grandchild­ren; Angela (husband James), Ericka (husband Jeff ), Tristin (husband Jeff ), Jeremy (wife Nadia), Tyler (wife Kristy), Judd W. (Fiancée Alexis), and 9 great-grandchild­ren; Nathan, Vincent, Emma,

Isla, Bo, Cruz, Bella, Kingston and Clive. She was preceded in death by her brother Darnell, brother Curtis Turner (Nascar Hall of Fame inductee) and her sister Ruby. After Webb’s’ death Dove spent the next 50 years helping people and working with the Lemon Grove Methodist Church. She briefly returned to VA for a few years to take care of her ailing parents in 1980. She was a wonderful, giving, loving person and will be missed by many.
