Patrick Sean Llamas

May 26, 1988 - January 30, 2021

SAN DIEGO — Patrick Llamas passed away on Saturday, January 30. Born into a multicultural household, Patrick explored his heritage with great enthusiasm, spending many summers and holidays with his Irish-american side of the family in New York, as well as living with family in Zacatecas, Mexico as an adult. He participated in the charreada for several years, a traditional Mexican sport that has been inscribed to UNESCO’S list of worldwide “intangible cultural heritages.” In this way, he contributed to the living history of Mexico, a country that he considered home. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Colleen and Gonzalo Llamas; brother,

Ryan; girlfriend, Rubí; as well as his relatives and many friends. Patrick’s ashes will be interned at the Holy Cross Cemetery in San Diego. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to: The Order of Trinitarians: 6702 Del Cerro Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92120.
