Silver, gold and jewelry buyer scheduling 3 events for appraisals
Precious Gems & Metals, a veteran-owned silver and gold evaluating company, appraises everything from coins and bullion to jewelry, flatware and pocket watches and will pay cash for these items.
The company is now operating contact free and is following safety guidelines during the pandemic, offering two methods for clients to sell valuables. Representatives will be available for private inhome consultations, or appointments can be scheduled at one of three county locations:
La Mesa: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 1 and 2 at the Best Western, 9550 Murray Drive.
• Rancho Bernardo: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 3 and 4 at the Radisson Hotel, 11520 W. Bernardo Court.
• Carlsbad: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 5 and 6 at the Holiday Inn Express, 751 Raintree Drive.
Due to the global pandemic, gold and silver markets are high, according to Stan Walter, co-founder and president of Precious Gems & Metals, who has been in the gold and silver industry since 1979. Those 55 and older will receive a senior bonus, a 5 percent premium on any sales, through March 6.
Walter and the company's other buyers have more than 70 years of combined experience in the industry. The company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and is registered with Dun & Bradstreet.
