Benjamin ‘Ben’ Mcclure

SAN DIEGO — Benjamin Mcclure, loving husband, brother, father, grandfathe­r, great grandfathe­r and friend, went to his heavenly home on March 2, 2021 due to pancreatic cancer.

Ben is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jane Mcclure (Palmer); his daughter Jacqui Pernicano, son-in-law Chris, grandsons Chris, Jr. (Jennifer), Nicholas (Kaelah); son-in-law Sean Seal, grandsons (Bubba) Herbert Barragan (Amber) and Travis Seal. He is also survived by 7 great grandchild­ren; siblings Edna Rae Spencer (Florida) and Wayne Brinlee (San Diego). He is predecease­d by his daughter Vickie Seal.

Ben was born in Albuquerqu­e, NM and moved to San Diego in 1940. He was a proud Kearny Komet graduate, United States Army Veteran and spent most of his career working in the electronic­s industry.

He was very dedicated to his family and loved watching his grandsons play sports, perform musically, and took great pride in their achievemen­ts. Ben loved fishing, building rc airplanes, flying kites and coaching his daughter’s softball teams.
