SAN DIEGO — Eleanore was born in Cleveland, OH, resided in Redlands, CA for 12 years, and in the San Diego area since 1968. She was a devoted mother, a proud grand- and greatgrand­mother. She was a cheerful person who reflected the love of her Lord, Jesus. She loved her children and cherished her grandchild­ren. She beamed with joy at the birth of each greatgrand­child. For 48 years her life was shared with husband Roy E. Wilson.

They loved time spent together and with family and friends at their “cabin” at the Colorado River. Her secretaria­l abilities served well during WWII and later as an Administra­tive Assistant at Cal Western Univ., USIU, and Poway Unified District. Eleanore is survived by her children, Carol L. Landis, James R. Wilson, and Lynne M. Mellecker, 8 grandchild­ren, and 14 great-grandchild­ren, and niece, Joyce Zivich.
