Reverend Joseph E Falkner

August 7, 1929 - March 1, 2021

SAN DIEGO — Dad was born and raised in Orlando Florida with 4 brothers and one sister, he joined the Navy, and was stationed in San Diego where he met Myrtle Taylor. They fell in love and were married for almost 65 years and had 2 children Diane and Joe Jr. He attended Simpson Bible college and ended up back in San Diego where he pastored Pacific Beach Bible Church on Gresham and Reed Street for over 20 years. After retiring in 1994 he served in the senior ministry at Balboa Alliance Church and volunteered as a chaplain at Sharp Memorial. His life was spent tirelessly in service to God and others and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his brother Dave, his son Joe Jr, grandkids; Lissette Ryan, Melanie Potter, Jonathan Goetz, and Mary Falkner. As well as great grandkids, Thomas, Jack, Rosie, and Lilly.

The Memorial Service will be held on April 17th, 2021, 1:00 PM at the Communion Church,
