Car and motorcycle collide, killing one

One person died Saturday morning in a traffic collision involving a gray Lexus automobile and a motorcycle in the Palomar Mountain area.

Just before noon, the car and motorcycle collided on South Grade Road in the

Pauma Valley area, according to the California Highway Patrol incident log.

The road was closed during the investigation. No further details about the crash were available Saturday evening.
