POWAY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER $1M GRANT FOR ARTS CENTER

The grant offer was introduced at a workshop on the PCPA held at the April 6 council meeting. The council requested more information on the terms of the grant at the workshop.
The conditions of the grant state an initial $30,000 is to be used for the feasibility study, Kaserman said. The study results will need to be approved by the Mccarthy Family Foundation board of directors and a new endowment established. Following this, Poway will receive the remaining $970,000.
