LANI SYLVAS NOW IN 17TH YEAR OF REAL ESTATE SALES

-

Coldwell Banker West (CBW), one of San Diego’s largest residential real estate brokerages, is proud to recognize Lani Sylvas on the start of her 17th year in real estate sales. During her real estate career, Lani has sold properties with a combined total value of more than $100 million. She is designated as a listing agent for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and also teaches other agents how to successfully sell HUD homes.

“Lani provides her clients with an upfront and honest understanding of the real estate market by not only working harder but smarter,” said Peter Mendiola, CBW president. “She has experience working with a wide range of people of all backgrounds. She understands the ups and downs of the market and has sold many homes in both good and bad markets. She closes the deal by listening to her clients’ needs and helping them accomplish their goals. Her combined experience, service and results will get her clients where they want to be.”

Lani is a recipient of numerous awards for real estate sales achievements, including Coldwell Banker’s International President’s Elite award. She has also appeared on top-producer panels, sharing her tips for success with other real estate agents.

Lani is an active supporter of the community, and works closely with community members and businesses to keep community dollars working for the community. As a former public-school teacher, she donates a portion of her commissions to local San Diego schools for library book purchases. She is also a longtime supporter of the Make-a-wish Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Lani also is active as a volunteer and has served on the boards of real estate professional trade groups, including the National Association of Real Estate Brokers and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. She also is a member of the Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® (PSAR), National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and California Association of REALTORS® (CAR).

Lani is a survivor of a divorce that affected her personal life, as well as her real estate career. “I have worked very hard to pick up the pieces and move on from that difficult chapter in my life,” she said. “I did some deep soul searching to find myself, love myself and reinvent myself as I adjusted to a new life of being a single parent raising two kids. I turned to a core group of friends for support and kept God first and foremost. My experience taught me peace of mind is golden, and I have been able to help others in their life experiences. This new chapter of my life has never been more exciting. I am looking forward to continuing to assist my clients with their real estate goals throughout San Diego County.”
