-

Love Your Feral Felines, a nonprofit cat-rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of the region’s most vulnerable cats and kittens, is celebrating the grand opening of their new adoption center. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 10, at 1929 West Vista Way, Suite C, Vista. The facility is North County’s first cage-free, nonprofit, volunteer-run cat adoption center.

The organization has a number of life-saving programs including a trap, neuter and return program to reduce the number of feral cats and a barn cat program where cats are placed in settings where they receive, shelter, food and water while helping to reduce the rodent population.

Named Best Charity in the 2020 San Diego’s Best Union-tribune readers poll, Love Your Feral Felines also provides discount spaying and neutering along with their adoption services.

“All of our cats and kittens are up to date on vaccines, FELV tested, microchipped and spayed and neutered,” said Christine Hubbard, the organization’s founder.
