Temecula wraps up its Summer
Concert Series live and inperson at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, with a performance from Undercover Live at the Temecula Amphitheater, 30875 Rancho Vista Road. Aug. 29 TEMECULA Traveling exhibit
The Temecula Valley Museum will host the traveling exhibit “Stitching California: Fiber Artists Interpret the State’s People, Life and Land” Aug. 29 to Oct. 24. The exhibit will feature a collection of quilts that interpret the complexities of the Golden State. In conjunction with the exhibit, the museum will host Temecula fiber artist Marlene Oaks, who will discuss the world of art quilting, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2. Sept. 11 LAKE ELSINORE Waste collection
The city of Lake Elsinore will hold its next household hazardous waste drop-off event for city residents from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 11, at 512 N. Langstaff St., next to the Public Works Yard. Items accepted include automotive chemicals, batteries, electronics, household chemicals and cleaners and paint. VALLEYWIDE Blood donations
Donations of blood and plasma are needed for patients throughout the region. Lifestream continues to host mobile blood drives at various locations as well as collections at its regular locations. Face coverings are required of all donors, regardless of location, and all potential donors are subject to a temperature check and COVID-19 symptom review before admission to the donor waiting area.
