‘Into the Woods’ at Grossmont College

Grossmont College’s Stagehouse Theatre, which has not held in-person performances for more than 18 months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, has reopened to live audiences with “Into the Woods.” Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with tickets from $10 to $16. All guests must show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the show to enter the theater. Masks are required. Because social distancing will be in effect, tickets will be limited. “Into the Woods” is a fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make. The story follows a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. Tickets can be ordered by phone only at (619) 644-7235. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
