Thomas Binkley ‘Bink‘ Bates

July 4, 1931 - January 27, 2022

VISTA — Thomas Binkley Bates (Bink) 90 years old peacefully passed from our fold. He is survived by his children Brenda Loucks (Dave)of Vista, Pamela Simon(greg) of Hemet, and Brad Bates (Aimee)of Vista, CA.

He deeply adored his 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and will be missed by his many friends and family members.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Francis Corene Bates of 65 years.

Throughout his life Bink served his community and country. First as a staff Sargent in the Airforce and later as a long time active member of the Vista Kiwanis Club.

Bink was a verocious reader, an amazing mind and a history buff, whose conversations were legendary.

Bink will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, unconditional friendship and love for this family.

Services will be held in Oceanside CA. Eternal Hills On March 12, 2022 1PM. All are welcome.
