La Jolla Music Society hosts open house at ‘The Conrad’ arts center

Join in a fun day of free classes, activities and performanc­es when the La Jolla Music Society hosts a Community Arts Open House from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center.

The free event will feature some of San Diego’s finest musicians, dancers, and artists.

Enjoy music by UC San Diego’s premier percussion ensemble red fish blue fish and San Diego Music Award winners Rebecca Jade and Ed Kornhauser, along with dance performanc­es by San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, Culture Shock, and A Step Beyond.

You’ll also have a chance to create your own music and art with Studio ACE, Guitars in the Classroom, Drummers Without Borders, and Bertrand’s Music.

This exciting and interactiv­e event will engage the whole family. All guests 12 and over will be required to show proof of vaccinatio­n or negative COVID test within 24-hours
