March 28 TEMECULA Blood drive
Promenade Temecula will host a mobile blood drive with the San Diego Blood Bank from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 28, at the mall, 40820 Winchester Road, Temecula, in front of the Edwards Theatre. The Old Town Temecula Community Theater will hold its next Temecula Presents weekend — a “nostalgic musical journey” — March 30 to April 3:
• March 30, 7:30 p.m.: A Tribute to “Uncle” by Mike and Walt Keale.
• March 31, 8 p.m.: Queen Nation. Queen tribute presenting a retrospective journey through Queen songs.
• April 1, 8 p.m.: Last Train to Memphis. A rock ‘n’ roll tribute to Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley.
• April 2, 7:30 p.m.: Anderson and Roe Piano Duo.
• April 3, 2 p.m.: Singing with Dean, starring Andy Dimino featuring the Big Band All Stars.

April 1 TEMECULA Coffee Connection
The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold its next Coffee Connection networking event at 8 a.m. Friday, April 1. April 2 HEMET Valley-wide anniversary
Valley-wide Recreation and Park District will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a day of family fun and entertainment beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at Diamond Valley Lake Community Park, 1801 Angler Ave. There will be carnival games, train rides, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks, a DJ, and live music featuring Boys of Summer and Kelsey Bridges. April 8 TEMECULA Teen Night Light Egg Hunt
The city of Temecula will hold a teen-only event featuring dancing, music and a night-time egg hunt from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Kent Hintergardt Memorial Park, 31465 Via Cordoba. The hunt begins at 8:30 p.m.; bring a flashlight. Prizes include candy, gift cards and a TV.
April 9 PERRIS Breakfast with Bunny
The city of Perris will host breakfast with the Easter Bunny and a free community egg hunt on April 9. Breakfast will be served in two seatings, at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., at the Civic Center Lawn, 101 N. D St. Cost for breakfast is $9.50 for those 5 and older; children 4 and younger eat free per paid adult. Deadline to register for breakfast is April 6. After breakfast, children 12 and younger can hunt for eggs and have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Bring your own camera for pictures, or purchase a framed keepsake for $3. April 9 TEMECULA Second Saturday
The Temecula Valley Museum offers its Second Saturday cultural program Saturday, April 9, with activities exploring other cultures. The March program will examine the culture and traditions of Argentina. Programs have explored Mexico, Germany, Scotland, Hawaii, Australia, Jamaica, Cuba, Vietnam and India, among others. Ongoing VALLEYWIDE Blood donations
Donations of blood and plasma are needed for patients throughout the region. Lifestream continues to host mobile blood drives at various locations as well as collections at its regular locations. Face coverings are required of all donors, regardless of location, and all potential donors are subject to a temperature check and COVID-19 symptom review before admission to the donor waiting area. The Murrieta donation center is at 40365 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, and is open seven days a week; hours vary. Information: www.lstream.org.
