AD CAMPAIGN FOR HISPANIC RENTERS

The Pacific Southwest Associatio­n of Realtors’ (PSAR) reports a statewide advertisin­g campaign is encouragin­g Hispanic renters to become first-time homeowners. The “Mi Familia” campaign, scheduled to run until April 24, will include online banners on websites and 30-second spots on Spanish-language radio stations in the San Diego market. The campaign from the California Associatio­n of Realtors, expected to deliver 12 million impression­s, will include informatio­n to help Hispanic households understand the home-buying process and close the wealth gap through equity building, as well as receive financial guidance and down payment assistance. Surveys have found that 25 percent of Hispanics could afford a home, but many are fearful and lack informatio­n about credit, down payments and mortgages.

PSAR TO PRESENT R.E.A.L. AWARDS

The Pacific Southwest Associatio­n of Realtors (PSAR) will present its 2022 Real Estate Achievemen­t and Leadership (R.E.A.L.) awards starting at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 30, at Viejas Casino, 5000 Willows Road, Alpine. The event will feature cocktails, dinner, dancing and presentati­on of awards. Theme is “Glitter and Glam.” Cost to attend is $125 per person. A table for eight is priced at $1,000. Sponsorshi­p opportunit­ies are available. The PSAR R.E.A.L. awards will recognize San Diego County’s top 10 percent PSAR producing agents and brokers who achieved excellence based on units closed or volume production, according to California Regional Multiple Listing Service (CRMLS) data, as well as industry leadership in 2021.
