CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS

TEMECULA

The Temecula City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting is May 10. City Council meetings are televised live on Spectrum Channel 3 and Frontier FIOS TV Channel 3 and rebroadcas­t on the following Tuesday. They can also be streamed live on Temecula TV; go to temeculaca.gov/tv. Public comments may be submitted via email to the city clerk, randi.johl@temeculaca.gov.

LAKE ELSINORE

The Lake Elsinore City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting is May 10. Temecula Presents will host a performanc­e by the Dennis Jones Band, known for sizzling guitar solos, smooth vocals and a highenergy stage performanc­e, at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 7. May 14 TEMECULA Art & Craft Bazaar

The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library will host a Garden Art event where teens can decorate clay pots. Temecula will celebrate World Day of Cultural Diversity with its inaugural Temecula Culturefes­t from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 21. The free event will include live music, dancing and activities for the entire family showcasing and exploring different cultures and traditions. The Temecula Valley Museum is presenting a self-produced exhibit, History in Your Pocket, celebratin­g the evolution of inventions that are now available on one portable device and illustrate­s how they have become obsolete thanks to the smartphone.
