Turning in another year of great performances, the La Jolla office of Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices California Properties finished 2021 at No. 4 in the Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Global Network, with a sales volume nearly three times more than its closest competitor. Team Cairncross, along with Susana Corrigan & Patty Cohen, took home top honors with a No. 5 and No. 8 finish, respectively, among the Global Network’s Small Size Team category. In the Medium Size Team category, Maxine & Marti Gellens earned the No. 2 rank, Greg Noonan & Associates were No. 3, and Eric & Peggy Chodorow earned the No. 10 finish within the Global Network.

PSAR MEMBER HONORED BY NAR
The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR) has announced that 2022 board member Rafael Perez of San Diego has been honored by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) with a 2022 Fair Housing Champion award. Perez, one of four realtors in the U.S. recognized with the NAR award, serves on the NAR Fair Housing Policy Committee, a group that promotes fair housing and opposes segregation through redlining and other roadblocks, including exclusionary zoning. Perez, a past recipient of the PSAR Realtor of the Year, has led previous PSAR advocate efforts on smart growth and housing supply solutions. He has served as chair of PSAR’S Government Affairs Committee-central Area.
PSAR OFFERS CRS TAX CLASS
The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR) will present a free webinar on the CRS Tax software from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, May 12, over Zoom. The webinar, presented by the California Regional Multiple Listing Service, the nation’s largest subscriber-based MLS, will cover the benefits of CRS (Common Reporting Standard) Tax software that helps realtors provide clients with accurate tax and public record data to make informed decisions. CRS Tax, available through CRMLS at no extra cost, provides all public tax records, sales and mortgage histories, warranty deeds, area demographics, GIS maps and property analysis.
