May 12 MURRIETA/WILDOMAR Networking breakfast

The Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce holds its monthly networking breakfast on May 12. The meeting includes networking from 7:30 to 8 a.m. followed by the regular program at 8 a.m. Cost is $15 for pre-registered members, $25 for pre-registered non-members, $30 at the door for anyone not registered in advance; Soap Box Minute costs $25. May 12 TEMECULA State of the City

The Temecula Chamber of Commerce and the city of Temecula will hold the 2022 State of the City Address at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at Pechanga Resort & Casino, 45000 Pechanga Parkway. Mayor Matt Rahm will discuss current achievements of the city and projections for the upcoming year. The event will include a Nonprofit Expo where local nonprofits can showcase their resources. SRCYPN will host a mobile blood drive with the San Diego Blood Bank from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 13, in the parking lot at 26529 Jefferson Ave. Donors must be 17 or older, weigh at least 114 pounds and be in good health. The Temecula Skate Park will host a BMX Jam for kids 17 and younger from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14. There will be music, refreshments, prize drawings and more. May 14-15 TEMECULA E-waste drop-off

The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts a free e-waste recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 14 and May 15 in the J.C. Penney parking lot at the Promenade Temecula mall, 40820 Winchester Road, Temecula. May 16 TEMECULA Garden Art

The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library will host a Garden Art event where teens can decorate clay pots. Sponsored by the Friends of the Temecula Libraries, the event is for youths in grades 7-12. Space is limited to 25 participants; advance registration begins May 2 at the library reception desk or by calling (951) 693-8900. Supplies will be provided and participants will be sent home with seeds and soil to put in their pots. The library is at 30600 Pauba Road.
