PSAR NAMES REALTORS OF THE YEAR

The Pacific Southwest Associatio­n of Realtors (PSAR) recently held its 2022 Real Estate Achievemen­t and Leadership (R.E.A.L.) awards event at Viejas Casino in Alpine. About 500 people attended the celebratio­n to honor San Diego County’s top 10 percent PSAR producing agents and brokers who achieved excellence based on units closed or volume production, according to California Regional Multiple Listing Service (CRMLS) data. The event featured cocktails, dinner, dancing and presentati­on of awards to individual­s to recognize their industry leadership in 2021. In addition, special awards were presented to three individual­s according to San Diego County communitie­s where PSAR operates offices. Realtor of the Year awardees included: Denise Roland Newell, Central San Diego; Amber Tannehill, East County; Charmaine Orcino-gonzales, South County.

APPRAISAL SKILLS OUTLINED IN SDAR CONTRACT CLASS

LIVE COURSE ON ANCILLARY FORMS FOR REAL ESTATE THROUGH SDAR

The recently revised California Residentia­l Purchase Agreement (RPA) has influenced changes in 92 forms in the C.A.R. Forms library offered through the Greater San Diego Associatio­n of Realtors (SDAR). Specifical­ly, there are 8 new purchase agreements; 6 new forms; 14 substantiv­ely revised forms; 56 minorly revised forms and 8 renamed forms. Get detailed instructio­ns on how to properly complete and use these forms from the expert and past “Broker of the Year” Jim Berns. The in-person, classroom training is Thursday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kearny Mesa headquarte­rs of SDAR.
