Concerts at Village Walk at Eastlake start June 5

Village Walk at Eastlake is offering free concerts and other events during its six-week series, “Summer Sundays,” from 5 to 7 p.m. starting June 5. There will be live music, local car club displays, special offers from local businesses and children’s activities. Breez’n will be the band performing June 5, and the car exhibit will feature the Corvette Owners Club. Free “Watercolor Butterfly Magnets” craft activity for children ages 12 and under, along with free face painting and free balloon sculptures. The series runs through July 10. Pet adoption fees waived for military through Tuesday

In honor of Memorial Day, the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility is waiving the pet adoption fee through Tuesday for all active military and retired veterans. Please bring a military ID or a veterans ID

to the facility, 130 Beyer Way. Apply online at cvacf.org. Realtors group taking part in Red Shoe Day

The Pacific Southwest Associatio­n of Realtors, a Chula Vistabased real estate trade group for San Diego-area Realtors, will be taking part in Red Shoe Day, a June 2 event to raise funds for Ronald Mcdonald House Charities of San Diego. The associatio­n’s members and friends will be carrying the iconic red shoes and collecting donations from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Eastlake Parkway and Otay Lakes Road and at H Street and Otay Lakes

Road. Donations help support Ronald Mcdonald House, a 56-suite guest lodge and dayuse center that is a temporary home for families of seriously ill or injured children being treated at San Diego hospitals.

Blood drive
