OCEANSIDE, CA — On Monday, September 19, Claudia Darr passed away at the age of 69.

Claudia graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She later went on to become a successful interior designer, gracing the covers of House Beautiful Magazine and Cottage Living Magazine. She was endlessly creative and so talented.

Claudia was a devoted dog owner, magnificent cook, and exceptional grandmother. Her restaurant Le Petite Gourmet in Laguna Beach was a huge success, where she served as both the owner and the chef. Claudia also saved one of Laguna Beach’s historic cottages and decorated it with all her light and love.

She was a dedicated mother, daughter, partner, and friend. She will be missed dearly.

Claudia is survived by her two daughters Rachel and Elizabeth, her mother Lorraine, and her significant other, Bill.
