Dennis Manion

ALPINE — San Diego native graduated Hoover High in 1957. Retired toolmaker from North Island NAS. His lifelong love of horses and riding began at a NARF picnic pony ride. Taught riding lessons at Palomar Stable and in Alpine. Met his future wife, Nancy, while trail riding in Valley Center. Liked nothing better than when a young person showed an interest in riding. Predeceased by his son, Neal; survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy, son Craig & DIL Lorrie; grandson Austin; sister Diane; brother Roger (Rhonda) & niece and nephew, Rory and Ryan. Service at Miramar Nat. Cemetery 10/25/22 at 1:30.
