Carolyn Mae ‘Sally’ Sisson

SAN DIEGO, CA — Carolyn Mae ‘Sally’ Sisson, 91, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Carolyn Mae Kenyon was born February 20, 1931, to Harold and Edna (Brehob) Kenyon in Indianapolis. She married William Sisson May 19, 1951, having five children. The couple moved to San Diego in 1960 seeking a healthier climate for their youngest child.

In San Diego, Carolyn bred English Cocker Spaniels and Springer Spaniels under the name Prima Spaniels. She was active in many dog clubs throughout Southern California until age 90.

She was proudest of her 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her children and their spouses: Stan and Robin Sisson, Alan and Marci Sisson, William and Judy Sisson, Arlene and Bill Smith and Gregory ‘Fred’ Sisson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Ted Kenyon, her sister, Donna Earle, and her grandson, Shane Smith.

Life Church of El Cajon will host a memorial service on Friday, Nov. 4, at 4:30 p.m.
