Drew Timme and Nolan Hickman scored 20 points each and No. 9 Gonzaga beat Santa Clara 81-76 on Saturday night.

Julian Strawther had 18 points and Ben Gregg grabbed eight rebounds to help the Bulldogs (14-3, 3-0 West Coast Conference) get their 25th straight win against the Broncos. Gonzaga has won 48 of the last 50 meetings.

Keshawn Justice scored 22 points and Brandin Podziemski added 17 points and seven rebounds for Santa Clara (14-5, 2-2), which led the back-andforth contest by one with 90 seconds remaining. Parker Braun had 12 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.

Gonzaga trailed by 14 points in the first half but shot 48.3 percent (14 of 29) — including 4 of 7 from beyond the arc — the rest of the way to pull out the win.

Nevada 67, San Jose State 40: Nick Davidson scored 15 points off of the bench to help lead Nevada past host San Jose State.

Davidson added nine rebounds for the Wolf Pack (14-3, 4-0 Mountain West). Nevada extended its winning streak to six games.

Omari Moore led the Spartans (11-6, 2-2) in scoring, finishing with 10 points. San Jose State also got seven points and two steals from Garrett Anderson.

Boise State 82, Utah State 59: Tyson Degenhart’s 19 points helped Boise State defeat visiting Utah State.

Degenhart had 10 rebounds for the Broncos (12-4, 2-1 MW). Max Rice scored 14 points and added five rebounds and five assists. Chibuzo Agbo shot 4 for 9, including 1 for 3 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points.

The Aggies (13-3, 2-1) were led in scoring by Taylor Funk, who finished with 14 points. Sean Bairstow added 10 points for Utah State. Max Shulga also had nine points and six rebounds.

Colorado State 79, Fresno State 57: Isaiah Stevens scored 16 points as host Colorado State beat Fresno State.

Stevens added six assists for the Rams (9-8, 1-3 MW). Patrick Cartier scored 16 points, shooting 6 for 9, including 2 for 3 from beyond the arc. John Tonje was 5of-8 shooting (3 for 6 from distance) to finish with 13 points.

Isaih Moore led the Bulldogs (6-9, 2-2) in scoring, finishing with 23 points and eight rebounds. Jemarl Baker Jr. added 13 points for Fresno State. In addition, Isaiah Hill had 11 points and six assists.

Oregon 70, Utah 60: N’faly Dante finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season and Oregon beat host Utah for a 10th straight time.

Dante sank 6 of 7 shots from the floor for the Ducks (9-7, 3-2 Pac-12), who were coming off a 27-point loss at Colorado.

Marco Anthony topped the Utes (12-5, 5-1) with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Lazar Stefanovic had 13 points and Branden Carlsen scored 10 with nine rebounds.

Colorado 62, Oregon State 42: Tristan da Silva scored 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting to help Colorado cruise past Oregon State.

KJ Simpson, 6-foot-2 sophomore guard who went into the game leading Colorado (11-6, 3-3 Pac-12) in scoring (18.7 per game), had a season-low six points on 1of-8 shooting but grabbed seven rebounds with a career-high tying six assists.

Dexter Akanno led Oregon State (7-9, 1-4) with 10 points. The Beavers committed eight turnovers, made 8 of 29 from the field, including 2 of 9 from 3-point range, and did not attempt a free throw in the first half. They set season lows for points in a game and points in a half (18 in the first).

Pacific 80, Pepperdine 75: Judson Martindale’s 19 points helped visiting Pacific defeat Pepperdine. Martindale added eight rebounds for the Tigers (10-9, 3-1 MW). Maxwell Lewis led the way for the Waves (7-10, 0-3) with 30 points and 14 rebounds.

Saint Mary’s 85, Portland 43: Mitchell Saxen scored 15 points as Saint Mary’s beat visiting Portland. Saxen added 14 rebounds for the Gaels (14-4, 3-0 WCC). Alden Applewhite finished with 13 points for the Pilots (8-10, 0-3).

San Francisco 72, Loyola Marymount 70: Tyrell Roberts scored 21 points to help the visiting Dons (12-7, 1-3 WCC) snap a three-game losing streak. Keli Leaupepe scored 22 for LMU (12-6, 2-2).
