We’ve Got a Lot to Be Proud of, But This is Just the Beginning for Palomar Health
The new year marks a time for each of us to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished in the past year as well as where we want to go in the year to come. I could not be more proud of the work that our team has accomplished at Palomar Health in just 365 short days.
At Palomar Health, we’ve been there for patients throughout San Diego County and beyond during the most pivotal moments of their lives. No matter where each of our patients are in their healthcare journey, we continue to be driven to provide exceptional care to every individual, their families and our community at large.
We’ve made tremendous strides in expanding our oncology services with the launch of our Cancer Institute, added cribs to our NICU to ensure all babies and mothers are taken care of, helped bring forensic services together to provide One Safe Place for victims of abuse, and that’s just the beginning. We’ve brought the largest free health fair to North County with the Health Rocks Festival, ensured our employees had a wonderful holiday by providing free presents to those families in need and became the official healthcare system of the San Diego Gulls. All these innovations and expansions have been developed with one goal in mind: to treat every single one of our patients like family.
Treating our community like family means a few things. It means never settling for less than the best, because it’s what our patients deserve. It means making everyone feel safe by taking the fear out of healthcare. Most of all, it means providing the care that we would like to receive for our own mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children – for our family, because nothing is more important than family.
As we look toward the rest of 2023, we are dedicated to continuing to reimagine healthcare at Palomar Health. I cannot wait for you to see all the exciting new things we’re bringing to life in the coming months, thanks to our world-class team of incredible physicians and staff.
